Contributions and Funding

Eligible consortia or partnership consortium consisting of companies operating in the tourism sector, also shared by local authorities or public entities, whose objective is the promotion and marketing of tourist accommodation offer of tourist areas.

The consortia / consortium company must:

  • a) include in its statutes the no-profit and ban on distribution of profits, even in the event of dissolution
  • b) be the holder of the travel agency under Title II, Chapter V of LR No 42/2000, or between members of the consortium must include at least one travel agency that will be on behalf of the consortium of marketing actions
  • c) Have at least 10 members, located in area 2, which target an activity engaged in tourist accommodation (except the Travel Agencies) provided by the LR 23 March 2000, n. 42 "Text of the laws relating to regional tourism," Title II, or companies that manage the facilities to complement the tourism identified in Decision of the Regional No 349, 2.4.2001 "LR 35/2000-PRSE 2001-2005.   • d) have their headquarters in Tuscany.
  • e) On the date of application must already be established, the subscribers CC.I.AA. the responsibility and be active and should not be in a state of voluntary liquidation, or subjected to procedures such competition

The types of intervention eligible for funding are:

  1. Introduction of technological innovation, with particular reference to information technology and telematics
  2. Provision of services of reservation and telereservation of beds and other tourist services offered to businesses
  3. Implementation of information campaigns, participation in fairs and workshops for the sector, establishment of databases and information networks and services, preparing information materials
  4. Public relations aimed at journalists and tour operators in Tuscany and implementation of targeted educational

Each project should:

  • a) refer to a Product Tour Thematic Strategy identified by Promotional Program for the year 2007, namely: Sea, Terme, Environment, Mountains, Via Francigena Etruschi, author of Routes, Tourism School, Welcome in Tuscany, Cycling, Eno-gastronomia, Tuscany Underground.
  • b) integrate and coordinate with the planning agency for Tourism through the subscription system to appropriate technical assistance.
  • c) provide competitive business that makes a proper value for money.
  • d) provide integrated with other areas of Tuscany promotion.
  • e) provide innovative actions for sustainable tourism.

ELIGIBLE EXPENSES:

  • a) Purchase of software, software design and network networking;
  • b) Acquisition of expertise for the area of assistance to the maximum extent of 20% of the investment (excluding those related to participation in trade fairs);
  • c) Hospitality and reimbursement of expenses for specialized tour operators, opinion leaders and journalists from the area participating in the initiatives expressly provided by the program;
  • d) Rent, rentals, fees, purchase of services (display, exhibitions and interpretation), travel and living expenses for the legal representative or his delegate for the organization of events targeted at foreign markets and at fairs and international exhibitions made in Italy.
  • h) Costs for the creation of artwork for information related exclusively to interventions to promote marketing of the project (excluding expenses relating to activities of individual members of the consortium);
  • i) promotional and advertising campaigns (design and dissemination through the media);
  • j) Expenditure closely associated with the management of the project up to a maximum of 10% of expenditure on the sum calculated by the letter a) to the letter i);
  • k) Personnel costs closely related to the project up to a maximum of 20% of expenditure on the sum calculated by the letter a) to the letter i);
  • l) equipment and capital spending are closely related to the promotional efforts of the project up to a maximum of 15% of expenditure on the sum calculated by the letter a) to the letter i);

NATURE AND EXTENT of subsidy:

  1. The facility consists of a contribution, within the SPD 2000-2006 - Measure 1.4.2.b, the extent of 50% of the total expenditure envisaged and declared admissible. The activities under the project should not be funded by APT.
  2. This funding scheme operates in de minimis, in accordance with EC Regulation 1998/06 of 15.12.2006, published in the Official Journal, 28.12.2006.
  3. E 'set a minimum limit of 50,000.00 euros and up to 250,000.00 euros of investment.
  4. The projects will be concluded by 31 October 2008. On 31 October 2008 should be "After the activities "and must be" paid their bills. "
